Non-joyo, non-jinmeiyo kanji

The kanji on this page are not all officially recognised as kanji. Some of them are used in Japanese but are not part of the Joyo or Jinmeiyo sets. Others are not used in Japanese words at all, but are shapes used in Joyo kanji. Items without a meaning, or with impractical meanings, have been given names based on their shape.
